The new BMW R 18 Classic is a modern classic – inspired by icons. The “Big Boxer” forms the heart of the machine: At 1800 cc it is the most powerful boxer engine we have ever built – it combines tradition with modern technology. The R 18 Classic’s flexible concept and wide range of accessories give you complete freedom – you design your machine entirely according to your own ideas.

The R 18 Classic reminds one of the beginnings, of the first cruisers suitable for touring. It cites timeless features of BMW history: The classic teardrop-shaped tank emphasises the stretched flyline, while the white double lining is the same as you will find on the R 18 Classic First Edition.
