Acceleration against the clock, miles per hour or just distance are merely numbers and all a breeze to the Hayabusa. The punch and power is such that a twist of the wrist can provide breath taking acceleration - in any gear, with the wind cheating styling encouraging long distance riding in comfort.

The more relaxing and comfortable ride is achieved with a 1,480mm wheelbase, Kayaba USD forks with anti-stiction sliders and Tokico brakes with smaller discs to reduce un-sprung weight. The big motor produces maximum torque at an effortless 7,200rpm with the three-position engine mapping system giving the rider the opportunity to choose the state of tune.

Considered by many to be the ultimate road bike with race bike performance, the Hayabusa benefits from both the racetrack proven slipper clutch and ‘clutch assist’ system. The slipper clutch prevents the rear end from breaking away on rapid downward gear changes while the clutch assist prevents clutch slip and fade during rapid acceleration.
