2012 Suzuki Intruder M1500

Beautifully modern with flowing cruiser styling in a more compact package, the M1500 delivers performance, handling and comfort. Designed to be on the lighter side for a big V-Twin, the super low seat height and low centre of gravity, plus the flat-track style bars and forward foot pegs all add to the sporting cruiser package.

The strong, low revving 1,462cc long stroke engine produces impressive power and torque from moderate throttle openings. It’s a punchy motor so for rider comfort and to cope under hard acceleration and deceleration both the Suzuki ‘clutch assist’ system and a slipper clutch are fitted to the five-speed shaft drive transmission. Ample power is available all the way through the rev range, with the large bore twin pipes producing the evocative V-Twin sound with an extra throaty rumble.

The rigid steel frame features a big and beefy headstock for positive steering with high spec’ upside-down front-forks along with powerful twin disc brakes upfront. The rear end features a progressive single shock giving 105mm of wheel travel and a large diameter single rear disc. Five spoke cast alloy wheels complete the sleek performance look.
