Bad Herrenalb Black Forest Germany 26th May - 1st June 2017

For 2017 our Rideaway is to the Bavarian Spa town of Bad Herrenalb. The town is approx 10 miles from Baden Baden which is where the famous B500 road starts winding it’s way through the Black Forest to Freudenstadt.

We have reserved double, twin and single rooms at the Best Western Hotel which has panoramic views over the town as well as an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam baths and secure indoor parking for our bikes. We have arranged dinner, bed and breakfast for all five days.

Bad Herrenalb is 412 miles from Calais and for this reason we intend to arrange a Eurotunnel crossing on Friday 26 May at about 1pm. This will give you the opportunity to travel some distance on the continent and reduce your ride on the Saturday.  If you prefer to travel there in one day you can opt out of us arranging the train and make your own arrangement with Eurotunnel or a ferry.  This will reduce the cost by £75.00. Alternatively it is possible to alter our block booking to leave and return on different dates. Eurotunnel make a small charge for this and such alteration must be made through us after we have made the booking which we do in January.

As with all our tours you will be provided with route sheets and gpx files for your journey there and back as well as a list of places of interest of which there are many. And of course we will have our customary Sunday evening get together on 21 May.
If you would like to join us please complete the attached booking form.  As with all our Rideaways places are limited.
