Clothing & Accessory Job Vacancy

We are looking for a Clothing & Accessories Advisor who will be able to bring their passion and enthusiasm for Motorcycle Aftersales into our Used motorcycle dealership in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a flagship dealership working with one of the most successful companies in the UK.

This is a demanding role but for the right candidate a highly rewarding one also. Duties include but are not exclusive to:

Responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our busy Clothing & Accessories department within the guidelines set by the Management team.
To control the ordering and issue of parts, clothing and accessories and liaising with suppliers and representatives.
Selling finance (training will be given)

Making sure all enquiries are handled swiftly, courteously and efficiently and to the complete satisfaction of our customers, organising all data capture to ensure that our customers are communicated with effectively and ensuring every opportunity for the sale and up-selling Clothing & Accessories is fully maximised.
To complete/assist in stock checks as and when required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must be dynamic, enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and be well organised, have the ability to work as part of a team but manage their own time effectively and efficiently.

A successful track record in aftersales from either the motorcycle or automotive industries is preferable but not essential

Essential

  • Computer literate with excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills together with a good attention to detail.
  • Confident and approachable
  • Excellent IT skills and experience with the use of data management systems and a good understanding of stock control.
  • A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to deliver results.
  • A full driving licence is essential & a full motorcycle license is preferable.

Van Driver/Motorcycle Valeter

Candidates will also be part of our valeting team preparing the full range of new and used BMW motorcycles ready for display in our outstanding new showroom.

Roy Pidcock BMW - After Sales advisor

We are looking for a Motorcycle Aftersales Advisor who will be able to bring their passion and enthusiasm for Aftersales into our successful BMW Motorrad franchised motorcycle dealership in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a very successful motorcycle business.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:

Organising all data capture to ensure that customers are communicated with effectively and every opportunity for selling and promoting the activity of the Parts department is fully maximised.
Making sure that Aftersales CSI scores reflect the expectations of the business and manufacturer.
Developing and maximising every opportunity for the sale of parts Clothing & accessories.
Ensuring the correct and efficient supply of parts to the workshop as and when required.

Final salary awarded to the successful candidate will be negotiable depending on experience.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record as a Service / Parts Advisor from either the motorcycle or automotive industries and a good technical understanding of motorcycles.

Essential

A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to deliver results.
A good technical knowledge of motorcycles together with the ability to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers.
A full motorcycle and driving licence.

Roy Pidcock BMW - Motorcycle Technician

We are ideally looking for a qualified, experienced motorcycle technician to join the workshop team in our premium franchised dealership for BMW Motorrad.

The successful candidate must have experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment as well as all aspects of servicing and modern engine work. You will also be required to undertake servicing and repairs on all ages of BMW motorcycles.

This role may suit a car technician wanting to retrain in the motorcycle industry, factory training will be provided in UK. This role is working with some of the most prestigious motorcycles on the market today.

Hours are initially Monday to Saturday work during the summer months but this would allow a day of during the week.

Ideal Candidate

The suitable candidate should ideally be qualified to NVQ level 3 or C & G equivalent and have experience of working in a franchised workshop environment. If you are a qualified MOT tester that would be advantageous although not necessary but you must have the criteria to become an MOT tester.

Essential

You should have a minimum of 3 years technical experience with modern motorcycles and be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards. You must be a self-starter with a flexible can do attitude, have a good attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team. A very high standard of work ethic is expected, but the rewards will reflect this in this role.
A full bike and car licence are essential.
