Sales Executive

Objectives of the Post:

  • To achieve vehicle sales and profit targets, and vehicle related service objectives by providing premium customer service and consultation.
  • To record and manage all customer enquiries.
  • To have strong product knowledge and speak confidently and effectively to existing and potential customers about our products.
  • To prospect new customers and to maintain positive relationships with existing customers.

  Main Duties:

  • Providing first class customer service and consultation to customers whether face-to-face, phone, online or alternative channels.
  • Pro-actively and consistently prospecting of new and existing customers via direct approach, telephone, online or at events. Communicating product, finance, technology and tactical offers.
  • Creating & maintaining customer records and administrative information on relevant databases (contact details, date of last contact, customer notes).
  • Creating and coordinating customer appointments.
  • Communicating and liaising with customers from initial contact through purchase and the lifecycle of the product.
  • Qualification of customer needs including clarifying the type of vehicle use, suggested equipment, delivery date, financing/insurance, purchasing reasons and additional relevant information (e.g. hobbies).
  • Proactively providing customer test rides based on the customer’s needs.
  • Effectively negotiate the sale of the motorcycle by working closely with the Sales Manager or Business Manager.
  • Providing quotations to new and existing customers including liaising with Sales or Business Managers regarding finance negotiation and insurance requirements.
  • Processing a customer’s used motorcycle valuation, including initiating a technical evaluation and commercial appraisal, prior to providing the valuation quote.
  • Ensure a smooth process and experience for the customer from sale to delivery including the timely & reliable creation and processing of all documents in relation to the sale and financing of the vehicle and conducting final checks prior to handover and delivery to the customer.
  • Ensuring regular communication with existing customers and supporting the service department with referrals.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the motorcycle market and complete product range including technologies and competitors.
  • Ensuring the showroom or product displays are up to date and acceptable for viewing.

Aftersales Advisor - Parts, Clothing & Service

We are looking for a Clothing & Accessories Advisor who will be able to bring their passion and enthusiasm for Motorcycle Aftersales into our Used motorcycle dealership in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a flagship dealership working with one of the most successful companies in the UK.

This is a demanding role but for the right candidate a highly rewarding one also. Duties include but are not exclusive to:

Responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our busy Clothing & Accessories department within the guidelines set by the Management team.
To control the ordering and issue of parts, clothing and accessories and liaising with suppliers and representatives.
Selling finance (training will be given)

Making sure all enquiries are handled swiftly, courteously and efficiently and to the complete satisfaction of our customers, organising all data capture to ensure that our customers are communicated with effectively and ensuring every opportunity for the sale and up-selling Clothing & Accessories is fully maximised.
To complete/assist in stock checks as and when required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must be dynamic, enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and be well organised, have the ability to work as part of a team but manage their own time effectively and efficiently.

A successful track record in aftersales from either the motorcycle or automotive industries is preferable but not essential

Essential

  • Computer literate with excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills together with a good attention to detail.
  • Confident and approachable
  • Excellent IT skills and experience with the use of data management systems and a good understanding of stock control.
  • A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to deliver results.
  • A full driving licence is essential & a full motorcycle license is preferable.

Van Driver/Motorcycle Valeter

You will be responsible for the collection/delivery of motorcycles dealing with our extensive customer base on a day to day basis (Van Provided). Candidates will also be part of our valeting team preparing the full range of new and used BMW motorcycles ready for display in our outstanding new showroom.
