Motorcycle Hire

For whatever reason you need to hire rather than buy, then No problem!

Our hire department offers a wide range of quality machines available for UK and European use.

Hire bikes include: BMW R1200RT's, Honda CBF1000 and Triumph's Sprint  1050ST model. (all subject to availability). Please email hire@pidcock.com for our current availability!

Cost is £94.95 per day (including insurance and VAT) with an excess of £500 and a minimum age limit of 26. Reduced rates are available for long-term hire

All rentals are subject to our full terms and conditions which are detailed below and should be read at the time of rental.

Booking Procedure

A UK£50 advance deposit is required to confirm a reservation. On or before the commencement of hire the estimated total charge in addition to the advance deposit must be paid. On completion of hire, any refunds will be made to the credit card account.

Method of Payment

Pidcock Motorcycles Ltd will only accept payment by Debit/Credit card. We accept MasterCard, Access, Visa, Switch or Delta.

Proof of Identity. In addition to a driving licence, the Hirer must produce a second form of identification. One must bear a specimen signature, e.g. bankers card or Passport, the other must have confirmation of address.

Hire Rates

All hire charges and supplementary charges include VAT, at 17.5%. Petrol is not included in the hire rate. The fuel tank must be full on return of the machine (Hire starts with a full tank). A charge will be levied if we need to refill the tank on return of the motorcycle.

Age requirement

The hirer must be 26 years or over and under 70 years of age.

Riders

Each insured rider must produce, at the commencement of hire, a full valid driving licence. Overseas visitors must produce a licence valid in their own country and where appropriate an International Driving Permit. Licences with endorsements are approved only at our discretion. Overseas visitors must also sign a disclaimer to restrict any claim procedure to UK Law and Courts.

Insurance.

Rates include comprehensive cover for the motorcycle and passenger liability. The hirer is responsible for any damage or loss of the rental vehicle up to a maximum of UK£500 which is the Insurance excess.

All accidents must be reported to Pidcock Motorcycles Ltd within 24 hours of occurring and an accident report form must be completed. Insurance cover expires at the end of the hire period shown in the rental agreement.

Note:

Hirer may still be charged for negligent damage to wheels and tyres, internal damage and loss of tools and equipment. An inspection of the returned machine will be made.

Extension of Rental

It is most important, should a hirer wish to extend the rental beyond the agreed termination date, that Pidcock Motorcycles Ltd are notified immediately in order that insurance cover may be extended and, where applicable, further payment be obtained.

Motorcycle Availability

Pidcock Motorcycles Ltd will endeavour to provide the motorcycle requested but reserve the right to substitute an alternative in then event of unforeseen circumstances.

Rights Reserved

The right is reserved to vary the rates, conditions and period of rental at anytime and to refuse to rent to any person without giving a reason.

Breakdown Cover

24 hour Breakdown Assistance/Recovery cover is included in the rental charges. In the event of a breakdown call direct on the telephone number displayed on the motorcycle and notify Pidcock Motorcycles as soon afterwards as possible.

European Travel

Any travel outside mainland Britain must be notified at time of booking or at least one week prior to travel, whichever is the greater. European travel is subject to an additional charge of UK£50per week to cover extension of insurance.
